Center for Early Diagnostics
One of the pillars of the Center for Early Cancer Detection is our diagnostics center. This is a high-quality research center focusing entirely on early diagnostics of cancer. We see people with an increased risk of cancer without symptoms, and people with signs and symptoms that may indicate the presence of cancer.
At the moment, the Center for Early Diagnostics focuses on individuals with possible colorectal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer and skin cancer.
Referral criteria
At our Diagnostic Center, we welcome patients referred to us through various pathways: via their general practitioner, population screening programs, or other specialists in the hospital. Regardless of the route, every patient has been referred to us by a medical professional. Those who come to our center exhibit one or more of the following indications: symptoms suggestive of cancer, a high risk of developing cancer, a familial history of cancer, or participation in a follow-up program after prior treatments. These referral criteria enable us to provide targeted and efficient diagnostics, allowing us to act swiftly and accurately to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
Biobank samples
We gather samples and data from patients at our diagnostic clinical center after obtaining their informed consent, ensuring that this can be utilized by both internal and external entities.
