Lisanne Verhoef

As Project Manager for the Early Detection program at the NKI, Lisanne plays a key role in managing the program’s day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities include coordinating research activities, facilitating smooth communication among team members, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives to advance the program’s goals.

Lisanne brings valuable expertise from her PhD research, which focused on identifying new biomarkers, particularly DNA methylation biomarkers, for cervical cancer screening programs. This expertise is highly relevant to the field of early detection, as the understanding and application of biomarkers are crucial for developing more accurate and effective screening methods, ultimately leading to earlier diagnosis and improved patient outcomes.
